Point isn’t the result of the typical Silicon Valley big bang explosion of innovation from our parent’s garage. It was the gradual manifestation of an obsession for health & fitness we’ve had our whole lives. Our founders live and breathe the continued pursuit of living a life optimized, and our experiences led us to this truth: people value health and wellness but are frustrated by the overwhelming volume of options and trends that don’t actually help achieve their goal.
Why Point? We’re glad you asked! In geometry, a point is defined as the connection between two or more lines. And that’s what we set out to do — connect all the pieces of your wellness life for a seamless experience. If you’ve got a health or fitness goal, we’re ready to help you achieve it. It’s time your data worked as hard as you do.

From the NBA to Tech Startup:
Get to Know Dijon Thompson
You've probably never seen a resume quite like Dijon Thompson's. He was drafted by the NBA in the second round, played small forward for the Phoenix Suns and later professionally overseas, and now finds himself working in an industry similarly marked by teamwork, high collaboration, and a fast-paced environment: a technology startup. We sat down with our very own Dijon to get the play-by-play on his career and find out just how similar the league is to Silicon Valley.Continue reading
I've seen some posts from fellow entrepreneurs this month saying they'd prefer to be referred to as entrepreneurs and not "female entrepreneurs." And that putting gender in front of their title belittles their accomplishments and serves as a reminder of how few of us get to where we are. While I agree there should be more female entrepreneurs (currently only 10-15% of startups are founded by women), I also think being a woman has allowed me to be the type of entrepreneur I always dreamed of becoming: someone who leads with empathy, understanding and relatability, nurtures relationships, fosters creativity and a culture of work-life balance.
You’ve probably noticed people wearing red this month, possibly in celebration of Valentine's Day... but did you know that February is also American Heart Month? In celebration of this lub dub holiday, we sat down with Point's Medical Advisor, Dr. Ricky Bush, to discuss what every person needs to know about their heart health and get to the bottom of his crush on Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Being an entrepreneur and launching a company at the height of the pandemic is something I hope to look back on as a mere speed bump in my journey. I’ve been in love with the health and fitness space for most of my life, and I’ve never seen it challenged the way it was in 2020. The ingenuity, resiliency, and camaraderie exhibited was nothing short of remarkable. The fact that the fitness and health industry is still expected to grow is a testament to this fact. In 2021, I expect some new trends and themes to emerge from the ashes of an unprecedented year.
